Visit to Plasencia, Monastery of Yuste and Garganta la Olla. View to the historical center of Plasencia, Plaza Mayor, Old and New Cathedral, Parador (old convent rehabilitated and the most beautiful Parador in the region). Then we will go to the valley of Jerte climbing between the cherry trees to the Piornal (highest village of Extremadura) and down the Vera towards Garganta la Olla, typical village of the region with houses of the sixteenth century large wooden balconies. As the name of the town indicates, on our way to the Monastery of Yuste, we will go through the natural gorges that the river Jerte has created in his land. Visit to the Monastery of Yuste, where the Emperor Carlos V spent his last months of life.
